The Brief: RAF Tucano Aircraft Decommission

To celebrate the decommission for the Tucano aircraft, current and ex RAF will be attending. The event will be hosted in an aircraft hangar at RAF base.

  • 500+ expected guests, cash bar plus a two drink reception.
  • Mix & twist will operate as the bar management for the whole event from start to finish
  • Main bar that serves a full menu
  • 3-4 other themed bars such as LED cocktail bar and whiskey and Ale rustic bar
  • No wait times at the bar.

The Outcome

We created an amazing send off to this great aircraft, a range of guests with different connections to the aircraft will come to celebrate its dedicated service, the event had a great atmosphere with drinks flowing and fun vibe. A fast, friendly, and professional service with a range of different themed bars to break up the room. Overall epic event.

The Brief: Boohoo & Pretty Little Thing Summer Party

Create a themed bar serving a mix of cocktails, spirit mixers and Prosecco.
There were only two conditions, the drinks had to be both highly instagramable, as you would expect, and served fast! With time being of the essence, our flair bartenders had to be on top form, not only creating delicious cocktails that looked great but preparing them at speed.

The Outcome

On the day of the event, we set up a branded bar over 12 metres long, serviced by fourteen staff, which included a dedicated event manager to ensure everything ran smoothly. A total of 4,500 drinks served on the day, 2,000 cocktails were served in the first 90 minutes of the event and overall, our bartenders served a staggering 100 drinks each per hour.
